Detailed information about the equation MgSO4 + 2Na2CO3 -> Na2SO4 + MgCO3 + CO2:
-
Reaction conditions:
-
Reaction Process:
-
Occurring phenomena:
- When the reaction occurs, CO2 gas will be released from the solution in the form of bubbles.
- Magnesium Carbonate (MgCO3) will crystallize and fall to the bottom of the solution.
- Sodium Sulphate (Na2SO4) remains dissolved in the solution.
- Therefore, one can clearly observe the bubbling solution and the crystallized particles falling to the bottom.
